Slice the donuts lengthwise, as if you were cutting a bagel.

In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk and cinnamon.
½ cup milk, 1 tsp cinnamon, 2 eggs
Add donuts cut side down to the dish and let soak in the milk and egg mixture.
In a frying pan, melt butter while donuts are soaking in the liquid.
